Back Up Sump Pumps

Back Up Sump Pump Systems have come a long way in recent years. There are some great units out there today that can protect your basement from flooding. I like the PHCC Pro Series 2400 by Glentronics. It has a great controller that alerts pump failure and power failure while operating on DC power for 7.5 hours per battery. With a jumper cable you can link two batteries giving 15 hours of continuous pumping. Check out the unit at http://www.grateproducts.com/ under Grate Sumps

I believe a battery back pumping system is not an option. It should be installed with every sump pump system. The Pro Series system coupled with GrateSump is definitely the best system available today.

Back up's are not just for power loss. A 2nd pump will protect you against primary pump failure and be there if the 1st pump get overwelmed with hugh water flow.
The Pro Series units are Top Notch with customer service and tech support thats unrivaled. I doesn't get any better than this!!!

Dear whybwet,

Steve Andras often speaks about the Pro Series 3 year warranty and that all other sump pump manufactures only have a 1 year warranty. What does that say about the Pro Series Pump System? It is great to have you, Rescon Basement Solutions as a partner. You are doing what is right for the customer.

Every homeowner should prepare their basement for healthy upstairs living. Up to 40% of the air you breathe on the first floor comes from the basement. It's all about healthy living.

I have used several different types of pumps over the years and nothing I have used comes close to the performance of the pro series pump. The pro series is cost effective and energy efficient.Do the research and you compare you will be glad you did.Travis
